The Bad Boy Running Podcast

Running is great, so why aren't the podcasts? Bad Boy Running is a podcast for runners (boys AND girls!) who are bored of the dull and dry podcasts currently on offer. Hosted by friends Jody Raynsford and David Hellard, both running journalists, bloggers and lovable idiots, the show features the conversations they'd have in the pub focusing as much on the camaraderie and social side of the sport as the technical.

Jody and David discuss the important issues on this Catch-up Episode.

First up, Jody and David discuss the case of Sophie Power who defied the UTMB and their rules about deferment by breastfeeding her baby during the race. Incredible... and it gets a bit ranty.

They then discuss how excited they are for the forthcoming episode when they're interviewing a race insurance expert.

Next, they confirm the terms of Jody's 5k Ironman bet. And it gets complicated and involves an Ironman race.

(Jody somehow manages to talk about the MdS, again...)

David and Jody reflect on Jody's many, many past failures and likely future failures, including a Challenge Anneka reboot.

We reflect on other running Facebook groups, including Parkrun laughs.

David reveals his experience of running a misty half marathon on the Faroe Islands and they discuss the joy of getting lost.

The episode is rounded off with a discussion about Kipchoge. Who may have won something....

Fi Silk, you're going to hate this episode. There is NO Silk Cut.
