The Bad Boy Running Podcast

Running is great, so why aren't the podcasts? Bad Boy Running is a podcast for runners (boys AND girls!) who are bored of the dull and dry podcasts currently on offer. Hosted by friends Jody Raynsford and David Hellard, both running journalists, bloggers and lovable idiots, the show features the conversations they'd have in the pub focusing as much on the camaraderie and social side of the sport as the technical.

May 27, 2016

In this episode Jody and David talk about the London Marathon and The Running Awards with a large section of the podcast also being dedicated to neither of those things. Subjects you can expect to hear about are:

  • The London Marathon and several controversies surrounding it.
  • Why falling during races is clearly something only winners do.
  • David's bold new idea for a publication which he requires the help of the Do-Badders for.
  • Book reviews and how the Do-Badders should fight pretentiousness in every environment they encounter.
  • A new competition for the Bad Boy Running Facebook Group.
  • LIVE (ahem) Running Award coverage.
  • A journalist is named as an official Bad Boy Running Enemy.
  • The guys weigh in on the recent Parkrun pay debacle.
